WoW Enchanting Guide
As one of the primary professions of WoW,
Enchanting is one of the easiest and can be one of the
most profitable. This WoW Enchanting Guide will give you a
rundown of what a Enchanter is and get you started to
leveling this profession.
Enchanting basically allows you to enchant
or
give magic properties (stats
and effects) to an item or take those magical properties
away from an item and store it as essence or dust. As I
mentioned it can be a very profitable profession as other
characters may want items enchanted or disenchanted to use
them in recipes.
WoW Enchanting Leveling Guide – Getting
Started
As with other professions, you’ll need to
find an Enchanting Trainer. But first in order to become an
apprentice (skill level 1-75) you’ll need to have a level 5
character.
As usual you can find trainers
in large cities and ask a guard if you need help. Stormwind
and Silvermoon are 2 places with trainers. To level the
enchanting profession you also need to have the proper
character level and of course get training from a trainer.
Here are the different levels:
·
Apprentice: Character Level
5; Skill Levels 1-75
·
Journeyman: Character Level
10; Skill Levels 50-150
·
Expert: Character Level 20;
Skill Levels 125-225
·
Artisan: Character Level
35; Skill Levels 200-300
·
Master: Character Level 50;
Skill Levels 300-375

Guide
A
good WoW Enchanting Guide is included with the Ultimate
World of Warcraft Guide; I highly recommend you check it
out. It comes with free updates, the latest being Call of
the Crusade.
Although it can be one of the easiest
professions it can be difficult to level and expensive.
That’s why it’s necessary to have a good guide. I’ll
describe the basics of leveling 1-130 in this WoW Enchanting
guide.
A
quick note, it can cost 500g to get to level 300 and up to
5000g to get to 375 and it's difficult so make sure before
you start on this profession that it’s right for
you.
Here is a list containing the Skill Level,
items and ingredients you need to Level to 130:
Apprentice:
-
Level 1- Runed Copper Rod; 1 each
of Copper Rod, Strange Dust, and Lesser Magic
Essence
-
Level 1-50- Disenchant;
Disenchant all green items as you get
them
-
Level 50-75- Enchant Bracer-
Minor Health; Strange Dust
Journeyman:
-
Level 75-85- Enchant Bracer-
Minor Deflection; 1 Lesser Magic Essence &
Strange Dust
-
Level 85-105- Enchant Bracer-

-
Level 100- Runed Silver Rod; 1

Minor Agility; 1 Greater Magic Essence & 2
Strange Dust
-
Level 120-130- Enchant Shield-

This will get you to the point where you
can become an expert Enchanter but having a thorough
profession guide such as the WoW Enchanting guide that comes
with the Ultimate WoW guide is going to make it a heck of a
lot easier and cheaper.
