WoW Leveling Guide
Where you start in World of Warcraft
depends on whether your character is a part of the Horde
or Alliance. It also depends on your character itself,
each one starts in a different region. In this intro WoW
leveling guide we’re going to quickly look at some of the
basics of leveling your character.
Leveling in
Warcraft
So… there are a total of 80
levels in WoW, as of the release of the Wrath of the Lich King
(Call of the Crusade released), the levels themselves may be
different depending on your character. The fastest method of
leveling is questing, so make sure you spend most of your time
doing them. You’ll not only level up quicker but also become
more powerful.
Quests are color coded to let you
know how the quest compares to your current level. The harder
the quest the more experience points you’ll get. The color
codes are:
- Gray- These are trivial
and you should just skip them.
- Green- Easy
- Yellow-
Normal
- Orange- Hard
- Red- Very
Hard

Guide
The best way to go about
quests is to have a WoW leveling guide, which can lead you
along the fastest path possible. But remember, stick to one
region… finish as many quests per zone until they get to hard
or you can’t find groups to complete. Then move on to other
regions.
There’re a ton of quests in WoW,
but that doesn’t mean you have to do them all. In fact that’s
probably not the best thing to do at all. Do the quests until
you level up and until the only choices you have left are gray
and green quests. Once this happens it’s better to move on to
other regions where you can do harder quests that will give you
more experience, and help you level up quicker.
Some quests can only be done by
certain classes. Make sure you do the ones that are for your
class, they’ll have the greatest benefit.
By far, one of the best and
fastest ways of leveling your avatar is to avoid bouncing
around from one region to another and questing in the least
efficient order. That’s where choosing the right WoW leveling
guide comes in. In fact it should be one of the first things
you do with respect to leveling. There are many guides and
e-books available…but there’s a down side to most of these. And
that is most of them you have to read by either pulling out a
printed version or switching from playing WoW to reading the
guide bit by bit on your computer while you play. In-game
guides are really the best alternative because they guide you
in real time and don’t require you to leave the game to
read.
One of the best in-game guides available is The Ultimate WoW
leveling Guide. . It only takes up a small portion of your
screen and automatically detects your class so you do class
specific quest as well. These are just 2 of the many features
of this guide.
