WoW Mage Guide

Click Here - WoW Mage Guide + Ultimate WoW GuideDo you like magic better than wielding weapons in combat? Then the Mage class may be the best fit for you. In the WoW Mage guide that follows you’ll learn some of the basic elements of this caster.

Unlike other classes you won’t have heavy armor and wield large weapons. In fact all you’ll have is cloth armor. What you lack in physical weapon you’ll make up for with unrivaled magical abilities to wield the elements of fire, frost and the arcane. You’ll have the power to destroy enemies from far distances using bolts of magic. You’ll also be able to restore friends by materializing food and drink from thin air. Also travel to other parts of the world in the blink of an eye by opening portals.

The Mage class is available to the following races:

  • Humans
  • Gnomes
  • Undead
  • Trolls
  • Blood Elves
  • Draenei

Mages do wield some weapons they include the wand, staves, daggers, and swords. There’s an absolute arsenal of spells available to mages. The best way to use them is to have a WoW Mage Guide at your finger tips. Talent guides including one for the Mage class is included with the Ultimate WoW Guide.

Mage Strengths:

In the following 2 sections of the WoW Mage guide I’ll talk about some of the strengths and weaknesses of this class. One of the biggest strengths of this class is their ability to inflict massive damage to both single and multiple targets. If all else fail however the mage is incredible good at escape using Frost Nova, Blink, and Ice Armor spells. Mages also have spells that can hold back hordes of enemies. As I mentioned earlier they’re also able to attack from long range and still inflict damage. They also have the ability to use arcane portal to transport not only themselves but other players as well to other parts of the world.

Mage Weaknesses:

As with all classes despite the many strengths there’re some weaknesses that sort of balance out these powers. One obvious one is its lack of any significant armor. So although great at inflicting damage, mages can’t really sustain much themselves. There also pretty lousy at melee and have low hit points so if melee’s your thing choose another class. Finally, out of all their magic abilities they lack any healing ability. As you can guess one of the major challenges you’ll face as a Mage is just staying alive.

Cool Mage Spells:

Finally I want to end the WoW Mage guide by mentioning some of the cooler and more fun spells you can use. One is the Mirror Image spell which literally creates a bunch of other mages that can then be used in battle. Another is Invisibility which allows you to be invisible for a short distance. Mages can also summon a Water Elemental to fight. To counteract the lack of armor you can also use the Ice Block and Ice Barrier spells to absorb damage.

As I mentioned earlier because of the huge tool box and abilities that Mages have using a WoW Mage guide will make it a lot simpler and a lot more fun. I recommend the Mage talent and gear guide that comes with the Ultimate WoW guide.
