WoW Warlock Guide
The Warlock class is unique in many ways in
World of Warcraft. They are masters of dark magic and have
unique, all be it horrific, ways of dispatching
enemies.
In the WoW Warlock guide
we’ll look into some of their abilities, strengths,
weaknesses and attributes.
Warlocks use dark fel magic such as Shadow
and Fire magic to not just destroy enemies but cause as much
pain as possible. Enemies won’t die quickly with these
powers but their level of suffering will be unmatched. Their
magic however isn’t just good for killing enemies. They also
have spells to protect their allies in battle, and even use
portals to
call other players from across
the world.
One major strength and challenge that
you’ll see as a Warlock is the ability to summon and control
minions. This however is also a challenge, because you’ll
need to be able to not only engage multiple targets but do
so while keeping control of your minion.
The first minion you'll be able to summon
is the Imp, which will not only increase your damage but
help you survive better as well. Voidwalker is available at
level 10 and is great for tanking. These are just two of the
minions that are available as you level up.

Another ability of the Warlock is their
ability to create Healthstones. These, when consumed by
party members, will heal life. Speaking of party members,
Warlocks can use Ritual of Summoning to summon other players
through portals from across the world.
One other advantage that Warlocks have
over most other classes, with the exception of a few, is
their ability to summon a demon mount. These usually require
other classes to purchase them with gold. The Felsteed can
be gotten at level 30, and the Dreadsteed at level
60.
The last special ability that I’ll mention
in this WoW Warlock guide is that they can restore their own
health by draining the life of another opponent. However
there are two disadvantages that they have when dealing with
opponents. One is that they can only wear cloth armor.
Second is that they have little Melee capability.
Another challenge faced by Warlocks is
creating and using Soul Shards. Soul Shards are created
using the Drain Soul spell on a dying target. Many of your
spells that I’ve talked about earlier include the summoning
of minions, other players, Healthstones and others rely on
the Soul Shards.
Warlocks don’t have much healing power at
all. They can heal themselves to an extent and using a
Soulstone can resurrect another player before they
die.
Two of the most common professions of the
Warlock are Tailoring and Enchanting. However for those
Warlocks who’ll be doing a lot of PvP choosing Mining will
make you tough and Herbalism will allow you to heal yourself
better with Lifeblood.
Definitely check out the WoW Warlock Guide
that you’ll find at The Ultimate WoW Guide. It’ll show you
exactly how to gear and what talent builds are best for the
Warlock class. The guide is currently up to date for Call of
