WoW Warrior Guide
The Warrior is a terrific class for those
whose playing style involves not only combat but
specifically tanking. In the WoW Warrior
guide I’ll go through the strengths, weaknesses,
and some talent builds.
As I mentioned tanking is something the
Warrior does very well. Of course not all Warriors are
tanks. Warriors have a greater choice of armor and weapons
than any other class, making them not only great at tanking
but also at Melee DPS.
Before I go further, some of you may be
looking for a Warrior gear and talent guide. One that I
highly recommend is the one that comes with the Ultimate WoW
guide. Check it out by clicking the link below or any image
on the page, you won’t be disappointed.
So, let’s take a look at some of the
strengths of the Warrior class.
-
Armor and Weapons:
Warriors can wear just about any kind of armor
including plate armor at level 40. Other than
wands, Warriors can equip just about any weapon
including dual wield at level 20.
-
Hit Points: Warriors
have very high hit points
-
DPS to Tank: You’ll
have the ability to switch between DPS to tanking
in mid combat.

The warrior does have some weaknesses and
challenges.
The defining ability of this class comes
in the form of 3 stances. They are:
-
Battle Stance: Most
balanced stance
-
Defensive Stance:
Good for taking damage
-
Berserker Stance:
Completely offense, maximizes damage
Talent builds for the Warrior class can be
one of 3: Arms, Fury, and Protection. The various talents
are what differentiate one build from another. The following
part of the WoW Warrior guide looks at these
talents.
Arms: Talents
-
Deep Wounds: As you
can probably tell this one’s really good for
inflicting damage.
-
Taste for Blood,
Improved Overpower, Unrelenting Assault: Great for
Melee.
-
Sudden Death: Used
with Mortal Strike it allows you to create massive
gaping holes in enemies in less than 2
seconds.
-
Trauma: Increases
your output.
Fury: Talents
This one’s really gear dependent and not
too good for raids or groups but lots of damage on command.
Here’re some talents.
-
Cruelty, Armored to
the Teeth: Essential talent.
-
Enrage: If leveling
and playing solo is your thing, choose this
talent.
-
Flurry
-
Bloodthirst: In a
raid this is critical to keeping you alive, does
massive damage and heals quickly.
-
Titans Grip: Wield
two handed weapons, Whirlwinds and Slams
Protection builds are good for defense.
Here are the talents.
Because of the gear dependent nature of
the Warrior class gearing up right is essential to play it
best. The WoW warrior guide to gear and
talents that comes as part of the Ultimate WoW guide is your
best bet in my opinion.
